The Nightingale of Thornhall

Kit Alverra is nineteen and not a student. She is a nightingale shifter working as an unsanctioned courier for the council — and Thornhall Academy has lost four students in five years. Her cover is a music tutor. Her assignment is to find the killer before the next disappearance. Within a fortnight, three people have noticed her: a raven housemaster whose loyalties she cannot read, an owl shifter who hears lies, and the security officer who has quietly been marking his own students for the program under the school. Thornhall's night choir doesn't just sing. It launders memory, and the students who go in don't come out clean. The killer is closer than she thinks. The only people she can trust are the ones she was sent to lie to. A full-length reverse harem shifter academy thriller — dark, precise, and slow to burn. First in series.
