The Last Copy

Kestrel Ó hAodha has spent ten years running Bracken Books, the small bookshop that keeps the town of Kilfenora alive. Then a rare-book dealer is found dead in her reading nook and her single most valuable volume is gone. With a visiting conservator who has opinions about spine glue, a chain of suspicious collectors, and one very polished auctioneer, Kestrel has to trace the book before the killer traces her. Somewhere in a marginal note, a charity shop receipt, and a schoolteacher's afternoon shift, there's a confession that was meant to stay buried. Kestrel is going to shelve it in the right place. A warm, bookish cozy murder mystery romance with more red herrings than a fish market.
