The Iron Widow

For eleven years, Ilona Markov kept her husband's cellars clean. Then the bratva shot him at their own table, and she watched them do it. Ilona isn't a vampire. She's worse. She's the human daughter of a man Andrei turned, and she has spent every year of her marriage memorizing the weaknesses of the undying. She isn't going to fight the Petrov family. She's going to bankrupt them. Starve them. Sell their daylight corporations to the Castellano cartel and let their lieutenants wither in the shade. When Mikhail Petrov offers her a deal — his life for the woman who gave the order — she smiles and says she'll think about it. On the same night, she'll take both. They gave her eleven years. She's going to spend them all in one vault.
