The Intern He Kept

Kit Rourke has exactly one call left in her phone. It's the man who blacklisted her from the industry two years ago. He also just hired her. The interview that ended her career was supposed to be Jude Hartwell's. He never expected to see her again, least of all walking through his studio doors with a personnel badge and a debt. He has no idea that the blacklist wasn't his — and Kit has no intention of hearing his side. She also hasn't told him about the game engine she's been building in her apartment. Or the pitch meeting she has scheduled for Friday with the studio's biggest competitor. When her prototype leaks and the whole studio has forty-eight hours to stay in business, the two people who can't stand each other are the only two people in the building who know how to fix it.
