The Heatship

Nova Reyes took the fall for a crime she didn't commit, and the shuttle that was supposed to take her to a mining colony dropped her on the Heatship instead. It's a prison transport, and on a prison transport an omega's cycle is currency. The warden auctions her contract to the highest-bidding alpha for the ninety-day crossing. The buyer is Kael, the ship's enforcer — a bonded-out alpha who was sold into the same system at nineteen and has been paying his own indenture down ever since. He buys her. He doesn't touch her. He puts her in his quarters and tells her she'll never see him again after the crossing. That holds for six weeks. Then there's a stowaway in the hold, and a set of records that could burn the whole operation down — and Kael has to choose between his release and Nova's freedom. A locked-in omegaverse sci-fi alien romance with a stoic enforcer, a mutiny, and an ending worth the wait.
