The Ghostwriter's Last Client

Priya Anand ghosts memoirs. Six weeks, one client, one final draft, one fee. She has never had a job she could not finish. Vincent Hallow is the best client she has ever had: charming, generous, and with no memory of his own childhood. Every story he tells has a small gap in it. When Priya checks the gaps, they match deaths — a schoolteacher, a landlord, a bus conductor. All forgotten. All by everyone but Priya. Vincent is not a man with a bad memory. He is a man who has been sold his own life back to himself, in instalments, by something that lives in his basement. A cozy urban fantasy and a psychological thriller with a twist, about how easy it is to buy a reputation and how hard it is to write an honest page.
