The Defense

Elliot Vance is twenty-two years old, three seasons into a hockey career he did not ask for, and legally a ward of his father's estate until he turns twenty-five. The estate's guardians have just moved into his house. Marcus Bell spent eleven years in the league and now represents the men still in it. He thinks Elliot should be traded somewhere warmer. Idris Keane runs a front office and has spent his career making sure certain things stay quiet. He thinks Elliot should stay exactly where he is. Elliot thinks neither of them should be sleeping in his guest rooms. Six months. One kitchen. Two men who want different versions of him and a contract that will expire in September either way. A dark MMM hockey romance about being claimed and choosing to be.
