Wren Achebe can tear down a Sportster in an afternoon and put it back before dinner. What she can't do — apparently — is keep a man honest. Her old man Saint has been running the Copper Kites on the Gary side and somebody else in Chicago for three years. Wren finds out because the somebody else calls the shop on Christmas asking for him. So Wren does what a mechanic does with a cracked block: she takes it apart on the bench. An off-book parts ring. A fake VIN. A chapter president with a hand in both.
