The Captain's Off-Limits Roommate

Beau Hollis has one rule: no roommates. Ever. So when a housing glitch drops Maren Okafor — his best friend's little sister and the hockey team's brand-new training intern — into his spare bedroom, he assumes the universe is punishing him. Maren isn't twelve anymore. She's sharp, stubborn, and completely off-limits, and she makes it very clear the feeling is mutual. They draw a line on a napkin and tape it to the fridge. They cross it anyway — in stairwells, in hotel hallways, in the dark of his own kitchen. When the team finds out and the coach benches the captain, Maren does the noble, stupid thing and disappears. Losing her costs him more than a season. Winning her back means breaking the one rule he actually believed in.
