The Capo He Betrayed

Dante Cattaneo is a capo with a secret. He grew up in the Iron Serpents Motorcycle Club, and when they need a favor, he gives them mafia territory. When his family finds out, they give him one order: kill the MC president or die. Dante goes to the clubhouse to warn his old friend Jax. But Jax already knows. He has been working with the Cattaneo family for months, waiting for Dante to prove his loyalty. Jax doesn't want Dante dead. He wants Dante to stay. He locks Dante in the clubhouse and tells the family the hit is done. For three weeks, Dante is a prisoner of the only family he ever loved. Jax visits every night. They fight. They drink. They cross a line neither of them can uncross. When the Cattaneo family sends a hit squad, Jax and Dante fight side by side. They survive. They don't stay together. But once a month, at a motel on the county line, they are something. It isn't enough. It is everything.
