Saving the Sous-Chef

Nina Volkov cooks for a living. She doesn't cook for the bratva. But when her restaurant gets raided during dinner service, a 49-year-old enforcer named Yuri Antonov pulls her into the freezer and tells her to stay quiet. He pays off her boss's debt. He offers her a job. She says no. Then her mother calls from a debtors' prison in Belarus, and Nina realizes she doesn't have a choice. Yuri is old enough to be her father. He's also the only man who's ever protected her without asking for anything. When a rival boss offers to free her mother in exchange for Yuri's life, Nina has to decide who she's loyal to. She decides wrong. Then she fixes it. Yuri doesn't need a wife. He needs a reason to come home. Nina gives him one.
