Protector of Ash

I left Port Alder nine years ago with a scar, a secret, and no intention of ever coming back. My mother's funeral brought me home. The pack sent Tobias Kaine to bring me in. Tobias was my bodyguard the summer I turned eighteen. He is the father of my son. He has never met him. Four days is all it takes for him to work it out — Mateo has his silver eyes and can hear a deer move before I can see it. The pack wants my boy as property. Their alpha has been stealing my letters for a decade to keep Tobias unattached. My mother didn't die of old age. Someone poisoned her to bring me home. Tobias will have to choose between the only family he's ever had and the one he never knew he made. He chooses the boy. He chooses me.
