No Scent, No Bond

Sera Vane is the only omega on the Ashfall, and her scent never came in. The alphas call her Broken. The aliens call her dinner. When the ship goes down on the frozen moon of Veyra, she's the one the Skarn commander pulls from the wreck — not to eat, but to breathe. Tael's people are starving for a scent they can't find, and Sera's dead one quiets the famine in his blood. He claims her in front of his council to keep the human survivors alive. She lets him, because a claimed omega eats. Except the bite doesn't take. No mark. No heat. No bond. And a failed claiming in a Skarn hive means the wastes — for both of them. Out on the ice, her body finally answers. But the bond cuts both ways, and what Sera feels through it will rewrite what she is: not a broken omega, but a failsafe. A standalone omegaverse sci-fi romance with a hard-won heat, a slow-burn alien bond, and an ending that refuses the leash.
