No Patches, No Chains

Jules Hollander has run her father's motorcycle shop for four years and she has never once asked what the Coyote Valley MC does with the service contracts. Then a sergeant named Cal Ryland brings in a bike with a crooked VIN, and the questions start leaving skid marks. Two weeks later, the shop is ash. Her dog turns up on a neighbor's porch with no collar. Cal keeps showing up like he thinks he's protecting her, and Jules keeps telling him he's not. The Coyotes have been moving stolen bikes through her father's contracts for six years. Her father knew. There's a ledger. There's a storage unit. There's a letter that makes the whole thing worse. Jules isn't going to patch in, and she isn't going to be anybody's old lady, and she definitely isn't going to shut up. She's going to walk into the club's meeting with a folder, and she's going to say it out loud.
