No Mercy, No Rules

Priest Vane keeps the Reapers' equipment and rides for the Iron Sable on weekends. He doesn't owe anyone in either world anything. Then Mila Sorenson comes back to Ridgeport to bury their mother, and the only alibi that clears the club's vice president of murder is her word. Priest doesn't want her near the club. He moves her into a house behind the shop anyway. He doesn't want her near him. He stays close enough to touch every night. When the VP comes back for her, Priest chooses sides in front of the whole chapter and walks out. She came home to grieve. He gave her a reason to leave — and went with her.
