No Ledger, No Heir

When Margot Beaulieu's senior partner dies, she inherits one client, one file, and a coded ledger in three colors. The eleventh name on the list is her father's. Luc Thibault is fifty-two, runs the family's holding company from a restored bank on Saint-Jacques, and has never met the woman who delivers his ledger. The day he does, she asks him what the eleventh name means. He says he will tell her in eleven months. She agrees. In eleven months, she will learn what happened to her father, who holds the family's charitable money, and exactly what a woman does when she holds the only document that can put a man like Luc in a courtroom. A mafia age gap romance about ledgers, inheritances, and a woman who files the paper herself.
