Kept in the Dark

Nadia Sarkis saw the wrong face at the wrong hour. Now she's locked in a basement in a house that doesn't appear on any map, and the man on the other side of the door won't say what happens next. Priam Voss has kept the club's secrets for nineteen years. He has never once brought one home. Until now — a witness with a smart mouth, a chess opening she plays badly, and a memory that could put a bullet in the man who killed his wife. He was supposed to guard her for a week. He's been guarding her for six. The more she remembers, the closer the truth gets to the one door in the house Priam doesn't open. And when the club decides Nadia's usefulness has run out, Priam has to choose between the only family he's ever had and the woman he was ordered to keep in the dark.
