Karina

Karina Vasquez is the capo's daughter and the only one of his children who ever learned to ride. When her family needs the coastal routes the Iron Fangs own, her father offers a marriage instead of a war. Brick Callahan, sergeant at arms, gets the ring. He didn't ask for it. He doesn't want it. They get married in a bar with a jukebox and a bartender as witness, and ride out to the clubhouse on one bike. The Fangs don't trust a mafia princess. Her family doesn't trust a man with grease under his nails. Karina is told to report on the crew's routes. Brick is told to find the leak in her bloodline. Both of them are being used, and both of them know it. When a run gets ambushed and two men die, Karina recognizes the road. She has a choice: the family that sold her, or the man who never asked for her. She makes it out loud, at the table, with a tape recorder running.
