Hunted by the Alpha Warlord

Danyal Okoye is three years into a contract on a human resettlement station in the Ophir system, and he has just figured out why the suppressant keeps running short — the Ophir Consortium has been engineering human populations to shift for two decades, and his station is one of the labs. When Danyal shifts mid-shift, he's taken off the lab floor and logged for auction. The buyer is a warlord named Kharov, who owns the station's lease and who has been quietly buying shifted humans for six years to keep them off the auction floor. He is not kind. He is not gentle. He is the only reason Danyal is still alive, and Danyal doesn't know why — until he finds the ledger in Kharov's study. Every shifted human. Every outcome. Eleven deaths. Danyal is number twelve, and Kharov hasn't decided which column he belongs in. So Danyal decides for him. A dark MM mpreg alien romance for readers who want their sci-fi institutional and their heroes unreadable.
