His Wicked Slap Shot

Corbin Vale is twenty years old, on court-ordered community service, and trapped for six weeks at a rural hockey camp with the two men who ended his season last year. Mercer Quinn throws punches he calls lessons. Devin Ash watches, and that's worse. Corbin hates both of them. He also remembers exactly what it felt like to be the last guy on the bench between the two of them. The camp kids don't care about last year. The camp cabin has one woodstove and two bunks. There's a version of what happened that night at the university that only one of them knows. They're going to have to say all three out loud, and then they're going to have to go back and file them.
