Hetty

Hetty Marlow came home to Norfolk to hide. Then the village chairman turned up dead in the churchyard, and someone put a jar of her grandmother's jam on the village hall table — labelled for exactly that. Her gran has been dead two years. Her gran's labels have been right about the last six deaths in Caister St Mary. The police think it's a joke in poor taste. Hetty thinks it's a confession. With a retired nurse who remembers everything, a black cat called Jammie Dodger, and a constable she absolutely is not thinking about, Hetty is going to open every jar in that shop until one of them tells the truth. A cosy British mystery with a slow-burn romance — and a village full of secrets worth burying.
