Her Scorned Familiar

Vera Lynwood summoned a demon, bound him, and dismissed him on the same day. She would like to move on. Thornbell Academy has other plans. Because Alaric is back. As a student. At her desk. Being insufferable. And he's brought two problems: Ozias, a fae duelist who keeps challenging her to lose, and Bram, a human-born rune-carver the school is quietly trying to fail out. Vera has one term before her expulsion order is finalized. Somebody on the faculty is selling dismissed familiars to a collector, and her name is next on the file. Faking her own expulsion wasn't the plan. But nothing about her first year went to plan, and three consorts are following her anyway. Thornbell is about to find out what a dismissed familiar is worth.
