Her Capo's Sixth Heir

Gia Ferraro is the sixth child of a family that has spent forty years pretending she isn't there. She is also the only one of them who is not a wolf. When her father dies, the will names her executor and leaves everything to his housekeeper, Nadia, who turns out to have a shotgun, a greenhouse, and four decades of secrets. Moving into the estate to sort the books, Gia finds a second ledger in a second hand. Rocco Sanna has been keeping it: the family's capo, her father's right hand, and the wolf who has been running the family's real business out of the olive groves while the humans upstairs ate dinner. He is old, he is dangerous, and he does not explain himself to accountants. Then a rival family puts a contract on Gia's head, and Rocco moves his chair outside her door. A werewolf shifter mafia romance about forged deeds, a housekeeper with excellent aim, and a woman who insists on being useful.
