Heir of the Winter Syndicate

Andrei Volkov runs the Chicago half of a syndicate older than the country. He is also required, by treaty, to finish a bachelor's degree in Vermont. Jonah Reyes is his resident advisor. It takes him one week to decide Andrei is dangerous and one month to decide he doesn't care. Then a rival faction sends a hit team to campus, and Andrei kills a man on Jonah's rug. Jonah helps him carry the body to the greenhouse. They do not talk about it. They do not stop. When the faction threatens Jonah's family, Andrei offers to give up everything. Jonah does something better: he calls the rival boss himself, and makes him an offer no chemist should be able to make. A dark MM college mafia romance about laboratories, loyalty, and one greenhouse.
