Heir of the Frosted Vault

Every eleven years, Wintervale Academy invites its heirs to claim the Frosted Vault. For four hundred years, every one of them has declined. Kitra Marren says yes. Now she's the most unpopular student on campus and the only person who can hold the three guardians of the vault together: Wren — a revenant with a sword and a grudge. Sol — a silver stag who writes her name in snow. Halvard — a headmaster who has been a spirit long enough to forget what he was protecting. The rival heirs want the vault opened on their terms. The faculty want it sealed forever. The vault itself is colder every week. Kitra has one year, three guardians, and a door nobody has touched in four centuries. She is going to open it. She is going to bring them with her.
