Given to the Wild Hunt

Every third winter, Rill gives an omega to the Wild Hunt. This winter, it gives Sable. She expected monsters. She got a physician who will not touch her until she asks, a mercenary who remembers her name from a market stall when they were eight, and a priest of the god-wolves whose only regret is the brand on his own back. They build her a nest. They argue over her scent. They wait. But the tithing council wants proof of a claimed omega, and the Hunt was never about the forest — it was about three alphas fighting over one woman forever. Sable has a week to choose. Sable has a night to end the whole cycle. Given once, claimed by three, free on her own terms.
