Courted by the Drowned Duke

Ottoline Fairweather is married by proxy to a duke who drowned in 1707, and the estate she has inherited is flooded to its staircases. Her husband is still in residence. He is courteous, elegant, and made entirely of water and old promises. She has six weeks to be courted, sign the succession, and give up her own reflection, or Fulke Court reverts to the brother who built the debt in the first place. Ottoline has read the contract. She has found the clause. She intends to be courted properly, on her terms, right up until the moment she walks away.
