Corvin Ash, Level One Godbreaker

Corvin Ash was forty minutes into a delivery run in the rain when the sky filed an update and gave everybody a class. His is Godbreaker, and the System doesn't have a manual for it. Every skill he sees, he can break and keep. The local System avatar, a smiling bureaucrat named NINE, files him as a defect on day one and posts a bounty to prove it. Corvin doesn't argue. He breaks a slime's regen in the tutorial, a captain's ultimate in week three, and a whole army's buff in month five. By autumn he is the strongest thing on the continent and the only one who knows what the System is actually doing to Earth. NINE has a schedule. Corvin has a bad knee and a very good memory for loopholes. One of them is going to get filed.
