Claimed by the Nightwatch Captain

Blackwater Cadet trains the Nightwatch, and the Nightwatch keeps the veil by paying it in cadets. Aurelia Wren is the next toll. She has one semester to learn the blade, the veil, and the four cadets assigned to her coffin squad — all before the midwinter breach calls her name. Captain Halloran wants her broken, obedient, and buried by spring. Aurelia wants the well closed, her mother's ghost answered, and the captain on a leash she cuts herself. At Blackwater you don't survive the veil. You rewrite who it feeds. A reverse harem academy romance set where the trainee is this term's sacrifice.
