Claimed by the Frost Lord

Nadya Volen has one job: kill frost soldiers. She is the last fire-touched archer alive, and she has a grudge with a name on it — the Frost Lord who put her village to the torch five years ago. When he corners her on a mountain road and offers her a blade in his own guard, she says yes for the smallest reasons in the world: bread, safety, and the promise of being close enough to end him. She doesn't expect him to be dying. She doesn't expect the curse in his blood, the frost that turns his hands white after every battle. She definitely doesn't expect her fire to be the only thing that stops it. A year of marching, rebuilding, arguing, and watching an enemy become something else, and Nadya finds herself with her own weapon in her hand and no interest at all in using it. She was going to kill him. Now she's going to save him. Both, in her family, are considered an art.
