Claimed by the Don's Son

Emory Vasquez has one photograph and one problem. He saw Valentin Corso standing over a body in a fraternity backyard, and now he lives in a locked room in the Corso family's house on Bellhollow's west side. Valentin doesn't want to kill him. Valentin wants to marry him, or at least wants his name on a document that makes Emory's silence permanent. Emory says no to that, and to almost everything else, for eleven weeks. He does his coursework on a borrowed laptop, he eats at a family table where half the people at it have killed someone, and he learns the exact distance between a captor and a partner. When the original file turns up in the wrong hands, Emory has one move left — and he makes it in front of everyone Valentin needs to impress.
