Chasing the Winemaker

Frankie Duarte has been the best sommelier in three states for ten years. She has never once set foot in a Napa cellar she was happy to be in. Then the job of the decade lands on her desk: catalog an estate's cellar before the sale. The owner is Grant Hollis — the man whose family bought her family's vineyard out from under them. He doesn't know who she is. Then the roads close, the harvest backs up, and Frankie is stuck on the property with the man she's hated since she was nineteen. Three weeks. One cellar. Two hundred bottles. Every night they taste. Every night it gets harder to remember which version of the story she's telling herself. And by the end of October, somebody's going to have to decide what to do with the land. Some scores aren't settled. Some are replanted.
