Bones and Bitter Ink

Delia Vance came to Hemlock Bend to bury her grandmother and empty a print shop. She was not planning to inherit a locked drawer. Inside it: thirty years of letters between her grandmother and the retired sheriff, describing three deaths that were never called murders. The only person in town who will read them seriously is Sheriff Judd Calloway, who was the deputy back then, and who has been carrying the same three names in silence ever since.
