To keep the catalogue trusted by retailers, some content is not allowed on Chiify.
Not permitted
- Copyright infringement / piracy — anything you do not own or have a licence for.
- Plagiarism or mass-produced, low-quality spun content.
- Placeholder or template text — leftover "lorem ipsum", "insert title here", or KDP-template boilerplate.
- Hate speech or content inciting violence against people.
- Illegal content, including content that sexualises minors.
- Deceptive metadata — misleading titles, fake author names impersonating others, or trademark misuse.
Restricted (allowed with care)
- Adult content — permitted within store rules and correctly categorised.
- Public domain and PLR — discouraged because stores reject duplicates; see public domain and PLR.
